Databases
The Wayne Public Library (WPL) provides access to various online information databases. Some databases can only be accessed at WPL’s public computers, while others can be accessed from anywhere. Many require a Wayne library card account to access.
These resources are free, provided from WPL’s materials budget, or from the New Jersey State Library’s JerseyClicks statewide electronic resources program. Any listed resource is provided in accordance with WPL’s Collection Development policy.

ABC Mouse
A digital education platform for children aged 2–8, featuring over 10,000+ interactive activities, including games, books, puzzles, and songs. Only available for use on public computers in the library.
Academic Source Premier
Over 1,000 journals on a host of subject matters and 75,000 videos from the Associated Press going back over 90 years. Available through the Ebscohost interface courtesy of JerseyClicks.
Ancestry (Library Edition)
A library version of Ancestry.com, delivering billions of records in census data, vital records, directories, photos, and more. Only available for use on public computers in the library.
Business Source Elite
Provides full text for over 1,000 business publications providing information dating back to 1985. More than 10,100 substantial company profiles from MarketLine are also included. Available through the Ebscohost interface courtesy of JerseyClicks.
Chronicling America Historic American Newspapers
